DUO

DUO is an integrated development consisting of residences, hotel, offices, and premium retail spaces located on Ophir-Rochor Road, Singapore. The development consists of a 49-storey residential tower alongside a 39-storey commercial tower. The development is jointly owned by Khazanah Nasional Berhad of Malaysia and Temasek Holdings (Private) Limited of Singapore.

As the Qualified Person responsible for the submission of both performance-based and prescriptive engineered smoke control system for the retail podium, hotel atrium, residential & office lobbies, all critical design features related to the approved performance-based designs were appropriately coordinated, tested and commissioned for the final clearance by the fire authorities.

Sule Square - Yangon, Myanmar

Sule Square located at Yangon, Myanmar, is a multi-storey building, housing luxury retail, eateries, and supermarkets, directly connected to Sule Shangri-La Yangon. The connectivity of Sule Square and Sule Shangri-La, enables its visitors to access the hotel’s elegant event spaces and encompass boardrooms, mid-sized function rooms and the grand Myanmar Ballroom.

Prescriptive smoke control system was designed in compliance with the local fire authorities’ requirements as well as the Singapore Fire Code.

Capitol Development

Capitol Development is located in Singapore’s Downtown Core houses 3 significant conserved buildings, namely, Stamford House, Capitol Building and Capitol Theatre. The development consists of Singapore’s largest cinema cum theatre complex, a luxury hotel, retail shops, and a residential component.

Exercised value engineering in the design and build package for the engineered smoke control system requirements including full submission to the fire authorities with approvals.

Marina Square

Marina Square is a mixed-use development consisting of 3 world class hotels and offers 5 levels of shopping mall comprising of fashion, F&B, children & lifestyle concepts and offices, which opened in the late 1980s. At that time, it was the largest shopping mall in Singapore with approximately 59,000 m² when it opened in the late 1980s. Throughout the years, the mall has expanded and undergone major renovations. Till date, renovation works are still being conducted to revitalize the mall to meet the market’s demands and needs.

Engaged as the Fire Safety Consultant for the fire audit and regularization for the development in accordance with the prevailing fire codes.

Paragon

Paragon is a luxury shopping complex located at Orchard Road, Singapore. The complex offers a 6-storey of retail spaces, ranging from luxury stores, to F&B outlets, with a 20-storey medical and office tower above the Paragon shopping podium.

Conducted performance-based assessment for the increased occupant load due to change of use for some retails to F&B occupancy.

Performance objectives to ensure life safety criteria were satisfied with no additional exit staircases to cope with the increased occupant load.
