Eunoia Junior College’s (EJC)

Eunoia Junior College is Singapore’s first high-rise junior college located at Sin Ming Avenue. The development consists of 2 educational blocks; 12-storeys and 10-storeys with an elevated stadium which sits thousands of spectators, accessible to the public.

Performance-based solutions were provided to address the non-compliances:

Extended smoke reservoir size and length
Extended two-way travel distance
Inadequate egress capacity
Extended discharge distance

Mass Engineered Timber (MET) solutions involving Glulam and CLT were also successfully completed for the teaching block.

BCA Academy

Building Construction Authority’s new academy block (BCA Academy) is an iconic training facility built to the existing academy at Braddell Road. It consists of a new part 16-storey, part 7-storey block. The construction method of this building is aimed to be sustainable with significant improvement to productivity while keeping environmental impact to the minimum.

Performance-based natural smoke control system and Mass Engineered Timber (MET) using Glulam and CLT were provided for the development.

Australian International School (AIS)

Australian International School is located at Lorong Chuan, Singapore. The school has facilities such as, football fields, swimming pools, multi- purpose halls, science labs, libraries, cafeteria, classrooms, and offices for the teachers.

Evacuation simulation and CFD modelling were conducted to address the non-compliance of extended discharge distance of occupants from exit staircase to external due to upgrading works.

Singapore University of Technology and Design (SUTD)

Singapore University of Technology and Design (SUTD) is a university campus consisting of 5 blocks of institutional buildings, with staff housing, student housing, and sports facilities which includes a sports and recreation centre, and a stadium.

Mechanical engineered smoke control system was developed for the multi-purpose hall.

Global Indian International School (GIIS)

Global Indian International School (GIIS) Singapore SMART Campus is located at Punggol Field Walk, Singapore. The school is equipped with the latest technology and designed to be a SMART learning space.

Code-compliant engineered smoke control system was designed for the auditorium and multi-purpose halls.
